Meet Dezjah! Dezjah is currently pursuing her GED with plans of pursuing a degree in nursing, Dezjah shared with us how receiving the furniture for her apartment brought her comfort.

Dezjah spoke on her living arrangements before finding her apartment. Dezjah experienced homelessness which included nights where she was sleeping on the street and some nights she stayed with friends. She spoke of one of her friends and her 'mom' who helped her get past this hurdle in her life that led her to be confident about her ability to sustain her current living situation.

What Dezjah was the most surprised about was that when the truck pulled up it was loaded with furniture and the furniture was new. She said “Maria kept me in mind. All of the furniture was new and it matched. She took her time to help me style the apartment. There is nothing like Chair-ity out there and I appreciate what you all do.” She then went to speak on the comfort that she has now that her home feels like her home. "Before I found Chair-ity, I was sleeping on pillows that acted as a mattress. It takes a lot of money and time to furnish a home. I am happy that Chair-ity does what it does."
